Why choose counseling as a means to a better life?

A standpoint from a seasoned counselor.

Five Reasons to Try Counseling
1. It is confidential & objective.

2.) It is self-guided.

3.) It is hope-filled.

4.) It is solution-focused.

5.) It is affordable.

Educational Difficulties?

Does your teen have educational difficulties that you think are related to their mental health diagnosis (i.e. depression, anxiety, ADHD, substance use disorder)?

Many of my teen clients have experienced this and due to my vast knowledge in Educational Psychology and ADA, I can offer extra insight to my client’s parents on how to best advocate for your teen’s educational needs.

In my experience, when my teen clients have proper supports in place at school (along with counseling), they make better progress with their mental health as a whole.

If you think your teen could benefit from a counselor who can help with this, please call!

Situational Stress

Many people are reluctant to reach out to a counselor when dealing with situational stress because they are unsure if they could benefit from counseling due to how big or small their problem seems. Generally speaking, if a situation is making you feel “stuck”, counseling can be a great tool to make some forward movement.

If you are unsure if I can help with your problem, whether situational or clinical, reach out!
